An Experimental Assay is a standardized measurement or diagnostic experiment using a specific protocol, applied to material from a study. Examples include RNA sequencing, proteomics, metabolomics, and many others.
There are many Experimental Assay Types to choose from, as well as many Technology Type. Moreover, one can create new types in both cases.
Finally, note that one may also associate this assay with one or more organisms, add samples, data files, SOP, any type of documents actually.
For a SOP example, one can be found in https://demo.fairdomhub.org/investigations/2?graph_view=tree#sops, or https://www.ebi.ac.uk/arrayexpress/experiments/E-MEXP-115/. (I don't understand much of what I see). Here I'll add a SOP from another project, as I can't see how to create one.
